Doordash Beyond the Dash Honored with Three Entertainment Clio Shortlists

Beyond the Dash project ALIEN (THE OTHER) written by dasher Özgür Seyben and directed by Patricia Riggen premiered at Tribeca Festival 2022. Özgür’s script was chosen out of a pool of scripts written by Dashers to be produced as part of the Beyond the Dash program. DoorDash created the Beyond the Dash program to help accelerate the dreams of Dashers and give them access to resources that would otherwise be out of reach. ALIEN(THE OTHER) is a thought-provoking thriller that asks us to examine who we’re afraid of and why. Set in an established wealthy home, a middle-aged woman is awoken by the sounds of an intruder. As she follows the unsettling sounds, she walks into a nightmare. A nightmare whose dreamer is unknown.
